MY DESIGN STORY
More About Me
As a child, I was fascinated by my grandfather's carpentry skills. He crafted incredible things using various tools and materials, like a miniature well that I could play with all day. Watching him use design to solve everyday problems inspired me to approach challenges with a similar problem-solving mindset.
Thus, I decided to pursue a degree in Industrial Design to learn how to systematically address design problems and acquire foundational design skills. My ultimate goal was to create designs that brought joy and happiness to people's lives. During my fourth year of studies, I discovered interaction design, which sparked my interest in digital solutions. I realized that technology could be a powerful tool to create engaging and meaningful experiences for people.
After came to ETC at CMU, I sought to further develop my passion for design while gaining professional knowledge in HCI. My time at ETC exceeded my expectations. Collaborating with like-minded individuals and learning how to work with multi-disciplinary teams was challenging but rewarding. I had the chance to experiment with cutting-edge technology and learn classic design techniques.

CURRENT STATUS
What am I doing now?
I am a VR enthusiast with a twist - who has severe motion sickness! But that hasn't stopped me from diving headfirst into the world of virtual reality.
In fact, it's why I choose my capstone project of designing a tutorial for EKTO VR, which helps users walk naturally in VR without any of the nausea or disorientation.

I have taken the 4th longest passenger train service in the world, from Beijing to Moscow, and took 131 hours+ to arrive
